African Game Lodge is a private nature reserve outside Montagu in South Africa. We offer affordable accommodation on a self-catering, B&B or Full Board basis , and outdoor nature activities such as game viewing, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, biking, trail running and birding. As an added attraction, we have a cheetah awareness program and many species of game and wildlife on our game reserve. Often used as our Honeymoon Suite, the bedroom has a romantic double bed. The chalet has an intimate lounge with fireplace, dining area, and kitchen with gas 4-plate and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a shower and separate bath. A covered verandah with mountain views and own braai facilities. Springbok Chalet is provided with linen, towels, guest amenities, crockery & cutlery. All appliances operate on 12volt solar power.  The Chalet is rented on a Full Board, Breakfast Only, or Self-catering basis2 BEDROOM THATCHED CHALETThese family units provide spacious, well-appointed accommodation for up to five adults. The main bedroom has a romantic double bed, the 2nd bedroom two three-quarter beds (an extra single can be included on request). Each chalet has a lounge with fireplace, and kitchen with gas 4-plate and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a bath and shower. Each chalet has a covered verandah with own braai facilities. Leopard Luxury Tent is ideal for couples wanting to have a quiet time together, and well suited for honeymoon celebrations. The accommodation overlooks our Cheetah Enclosure but is only 5 minutes walk from the main lodge facilities. It is provided with linen, towels, guest amenities and is rented on a Full Board or Breakfast Only basis.CARACAL BUSH CAMPFor a complete nature break where you can relax and enjoy absolute solitude, choose Caracal Bush Camp. Set in the most stunning location overlooking a dam teeming with birdlife, this self-contained bushcamp has a luxury tent with Queen Size Bed, viewing deck, braai area, kitchen and bathroom.  High clearance vehicle required for access otherwise we can arrange return transfers for you at a small extra charge. Rented on a self-catering basis for a minimum stay of 2 nights, Caracal Bush Camp is provided with Linen, Towels and Guest Amenities.CAMPING AT AFRICAN GAME LODGEOur basic camping sites suit the independent camper who enjoys the bare basics and clean ablutions.  Our camping sites each have their own braai, and shaded area for summer. There are ladies and gents ablutions which consist of toilets, showers and basins.  A communal washing up area is provided. The camping site is an ideal place from which to enjoy our outdoor activities. Bushwackers welcome, but not suitable for caravans and there are no electrical hookups available.
