Campismo Ninho 11 is situated on the Campismo Ninho Estate in Ponta Malongane. The house is situated on the second dune. The house is walking distance to the beach. This beach cottage consists of 3 bedrooms (2 of which have double beds and 1 with 2 single beds and an extra sleeper couch) and 2 bathrooms (showers only), sleeping 6 adults comfortably. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge that can sleep 2 extra kids under the age of 12, so the house can sleep 8 people in total. All linen is provided. The open plan kitchen and lounge area have an open view decoder (fully activated) and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a chest freezer, 2 fridges, a toaster, microwave, electric stove, oven, kettle, and many ice containers. Air conditioning is found in all the rooms of the house as well as a ceiling fan in the lounge and standing fans in the bedrooms. The lounge area opens up onto a large outside wooden deck, with sea views. There are couches as well as a table and benches for outside dining. A gas braai is provided with gas. There is enough parking for 3 vehicles. A housekeeper comes in daily from 9 am to 2 pm, the housekeeper is included in the nightly rate that you pay for the house. You can give her a staff tip if you feel you want to. The walkway to the beach is a wooden staircase of approximately 180 steps to climb down onto the beach sand. The cottage has its own water tank as well as a generator, so when there are power cuts the cottage is self-sufficient. The generator runs the lights, TV, fridge, and freezer. It does not run the aircon, stove, and geyser. There is a filter tap in the kitchen for drinking water. Most people drink the water from this filter tap, however, if you would prefer to take bottled water its at your own discretion.

We were very happy staying here, the owners obviously love their house and this feeling is transmitted to guests. It is spacious and has two full fridges with freezers, as well as an extra chest freezer. Microwave, stove, oven all work, and there is a water filter on the kitchen tap so you can actually drink the water from the tap (well I did this by mistake and did not get sick). The house is clean and neat, but basic rather than luxurious, and priced accordingly. Bring extra mosquito nets as there are only two small ones. The double beds are really a bit small for people used to queen-sized beds, but that is personal preference. Although this house is not close to the beach front, it still has a view of the sea and has the added benefit of being sheltered when it is windy. Climbing the stairs up from the beach requires a bit of fitness. I would choose this place if I stay in Campismo Ninho again.
