LocationCasa Do Mar Guest House is situated on the main beach in Tofo appr. 20km from Inhambane, Mozambique. It is a three story building on the main beach and offers spectacular views of the main beach right up to Barra Point. The guest house was opened in September 2011 and offers 9 spacious ensuite bedrooms. The South African owners built the large property with four full sea view rooms with private verandas, and the rest of the rooms with partial sea views.A neat venue with friendly staff and a hearty breakfast awaits guests that will leave as friends for life. Accommodation/RoomsThe Guest House offers 9 individually decorated luxury guest bedrooms. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and aircon. All rooms have double beds except 1 has 2 single beds. This room is ideal for two children or two friends. Four of the rooms have verandas overlooking the beautiful ocean and the beach. Each room is equipped with a safe to keep your valuables. Fresh towels are supplied for the bathrooms and the swimming pool. Unfortunately, no beach towels are provided. Each bathroom has its own hand wash as well as hair and body wash dispensers. Each bedroom is also equipped with its own tea and coffee making facility. Facilities/Services- The sundeck and swimming pool area offer guests privacy and the opportunity to relax and soak up the sun while listening to the sea.- Enjoy a drink from the Guest House Bar overlooking the ocean where whales and dolphins are a regular sight.- DStv and Movies are available in the main lounge.- The second floor of the Guest House offers an additional room where guests can read and relax.- An ice machine ensures a sufficient supply of ice.- In the case of a power failure, we have a 63 KVA generator for back up.Weddings:With a magnificent panoramic landscape and the long sandy Tofo Beach, the Casa Do Mar team arranges marriage ceremonies and prepares the ceremonial banquet.- Full breakfast is included in the price and lunch/dinner can be requested with the friendly staff at any time.
