35 km north of Maputo lays Cova de Tubarao, a tropical barefoot paradise on an exotic African island. Activities are nearby (within 5-7 km radius from Cova De Tubarao):  horse riding, snorkelling, deep sea fishing, tours to Inhaca Island, Quad Bike rentals.For those that don't want to self cater, there are restaurants close by.Please take note that 10kms before Cova you will cross a ferry, the ferry stops at 6pm, so ensure that you plan your travels so that you arrive before 6pm.  The ferry starts again at 6am.  A 4x4 is  not required to get to Cova De Tubaroa, however a vehicle with high clearance is required.HAMMERHEAD SHARK (8 Sleeper Villa)The spacious log house is a self catering eight (8) sleeper that offers breath taking views from all bedrooms with wide windows. TIGER SHARK (12 Sleeper Villa)Is a self catering twelve (12) sleeper, thatched, double story wooden house. Your ever so popular upper level is your entertainment area complete with braai area, kitchen and lounge. This is rounded of with a fantastic ocean view. The lower level consists of a bathroom, two bedrooms with double beds, and one bedroom with two single beds and an open plan with four single beds. On the upper level you will also find two sleeper couches.ANGEL SHARK (4 Sleeper Villa)Is also known as the Honeymoon Suite. A warm and inviting open plan, single storey thatched wooden house that is drenched with creativity. It sleeps four (4) people via a queen size bed and two sleeper couches. The kitchen is situated on the veranda and this house is also self catering.ZAMBEZI SHARK (6 Sleeper Villa)Is our self catering six (6) sleeper. A thatched double storey wooden house where the lower level has one bathroom and an open plan with one double bed and four single beds. The upper level with an ocean view is your entertainment area, and consists of a braai area, kitchen and lounge.PLAASHUIS (4 Sleeper Villa)This is a new addition. Its a 4 sleeper Villa with 1 Queen size bed and 2 single beds. The house is situated in the garden, it is a single storey house and doesnt have a sea view, but is decorated beautifully.  The house is fully equipped for self catering.SEEKAT6 separate free standing thatch rooms with single beds sleep 12 people big thatch kitchen with a build in braai for rainy days. Hammocks under the deck where you can relax in the shade. POTATO BASSthis is a caravan under a large thatch roof with a concrete floor with build in braai, fully equipped. Ablution block next to the caravan and under the shade hammock for those lazy days to read a book or with sunset enjoy a glass of wine. CAMP SITES 4 Camp sites each with a braai area and thatch roof, electric are available and a water point at each camp site.
