This house is situated on Kangela Estate in Ponta Malongane. It's on the beach and has its own private wooden walkway that leads to the beach. The open plan kitchen/lounge and dining area have glass doors that lead out onto a large wooden deck with Weber braai. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and has as 6 hob gas stove and oven, 2 chest freezers, 1 large fridge, and a coffee machine. The dining room has a 9 seater dining table and chairs. The house has a boma area and a 9 seater table and chairs on the patio with a Weber braai. All 4 bedrooms are located on the top floor. Wake up overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean. 3 bedrooms have double beds and 2 of the bedrooms are en-suite with a shower and bath. The third room shares a bathroom with the 'kiddies' room that overlooks the garden. The kids' room has 3 single beds. The house can sleep a total of 9 people. All beds have mosquito nets and ceiling fans. There is an extra chest freezer in the storeroom and a washing machine. Downstairs is the open plan living area. Fully equipped and fully serviced, you can have a truly relaxing holiday. All you need to bring with is food, drinks, water, and personal toiletries. Undercover parking for 2 cars.

We had a lovely stay at Kangela, I love that it is so close to the beach and the area is lovely for walks, swimming in the sea and beach fun. The website needs to be updated as there is filtered water in the house which would have saved me some space in the car bringing so much water, beach towels are also provided. The staff were great and Bongani setup our gazebo on the beach daily would have been nice to have some beach chairs like our neighbours :) Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely go back.
We loved House 9. Airy, spacious, contemporary design. The fire pit in the boma a bonus. Different verandahs to accommodate weather and wind. Private - lovely setting behind primary sand dune. I feel like I am at Phinda Forest on the beach...the staff Bongani and Victoria are fantastic. Bongani was extremely helpful in many respects and arranged the fishmonger to visit and brought us fresh bread daily. He helped carry boats onto the beach and had much advice about the town and its people - what a gem of a guy. My ONLY complaint would be the lack of a plunge pool which would have been the cherry on the cake. Please fix the stove sparking uncontrollably. Great crockery, cutlery and wine glasses - can we have some champagne glassess too! Thanks what an amazing place and space to have a holiday.
