Macaneta Blue Beach Retreat is located 40 km north of Maputo in the prime area of Macaneta. Take the short ferry ride to find yourself in the midst of quiet unspoiled beaches and a unique bush environment. Our approach is quite different from the busy camps by offering three quiet and peaceful retreat studios all facing the ocean and nicely spaced out. Each studio consists of an open-plan living and sleeping area with a double bed and a quality mosquito net, an en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette with a hot plate, a bar fridge and cutlery as well an outside area with braai and dining facilities. Above houses 2 and 3 are viewing decks overlooking the ocean. Ask our staff to assist you with local fish. Should you not want to cook, the island offers several excellent restaurants. There is also a convenience store and a filling station on the island. The retreats are only accessible by 4x4.
