This house is situated on Mar Azul private beach housing estate in Ponta Malongane. It is located on the beachfront row of houses. The house has 6 bedrooms, all en-suite (shower, toilet, and basin). Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms with king-size beds with annexed rooms each one with single bed bunk beds, and downstairs 4 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms have king-size beds and 2 bedrooms have 2 double beds. Fresh linen provided. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have sea views, the 4 downstairs bedrooms face the sea and have views of the natural bush. This house sleeps a total of 16 people. The house has its own private swimming pool. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, no air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and open plan to the lounge/living room area. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric pan, 2 fridge/freezers, 1 deep freeze. The house has TV and Dstv at an additional cost of R40 per day, if you wish to have this activated during your stay please let us know 2 weeks before your arrival. There is a weber braai, wood, or Charcoal can be bought in Malongane Village. The house shares a beach boardwalk with 2 other houses. There is a laundry with a washing machine, you need to bring your own washing powder with. The house is serviced daily. There is 1 compulsory staff member and a second housekeeper is optional. The staff must be paid R70 each per day. You can buy all your provisions at Hluhluwe or Manguzi, including meat (great butchery at bottom of Hluhluwe town). Manguzi is 10 km from the Kosi Bay border, there is a Spar Superette where you can buy dry and fresh food supplies. Please take note that if you are booked in on Mar Azul Estate and have a boat, jet ski, or quad bike, you can park 1 of 2 places, see below: Park at the security gate (bottom of the hill) R300 a day. Park at the top of the hill (communal parking) - free If you decide to park at the security gate then ensure that you have enough cash to pay for the parking on your departure date. House Rules To try and keep everyone safe and happy, please take note of some of our important. House Rules: The speed limit in the resort is 10km/hr. Please respect the 10:30 pm noise restriction - Loud music is not much fun when you are not at the party. No fireworks are allowed. Nearly all of our houses are made of wood and this could go horribly wrong. No children under the age of 18 are allowed to ride a quad bike. (Please note that this is Mozambiquean law, not our rules). No littering. We know this sounds really obvious, but you would be amazed. And, we would really appreciate it if you removed two pieces of rubbish from the beach each time you go. No unattended open fires. Yip, we already said it, the houses are made of wood and we don't want to light up the sky. There is a fish cleaning/gutting station near security. Please use this area so we can contain the smell and keep it clean so you don't get a fly in your drink. For security reasons, all casual labour must be sourced via the Mar Azul Manager. No access card, no entry. Guests must advise Security in advance of any visitors. If their name is not at Security, they will not be allowed access. It was absolutely a great house with the most stunning views one can dream of. The layout of the house is superb.
It can do with a bit of paint here and there. The one kitchen window didn't have a place to hook op the window and no toilette paper is supplied. So nothing really to complain about.
I will go back anytime!!!!

Things to improve:
Supply at least toilette paper and maybe 2/3 bunched of wood to start of with. We chose this house over few things, but one is because you have a braai on the deck. Also let customers know to bring their own wood/charcoal, as the wood there isn't the best braai wood.

We had the most amazing time at Mar Azul 2 from 4/1/19-15/1/19. The views were absolutely amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The biggest plus was that there was a swimming pool, we spent a lot of time in the pool. A suggestion, a microwave would be an added bonus in the kitchen.
Superb house where everything worked well. The pool was clean and blue, same with bathrooms and showers. 3 parking bays in front of the house were adequate. 10 of us stayed here and had loads of fun. Walk down to the beach was only fourty steps followed by a 50m walk. Amazing views from almost all rooms, most of which are sea facing. Large kitchen provided ample dining space and cooking amenities. The laundry on the lowest level can be used via the housekeepers.
