Accommodation/Rooms Bricked and thatched with authentic Mozambique materials, this home is made up of 4 modern rustic bedrooms, with comfortable Sealy mattresses; each tastefully decorated with fun bright colours?something out of the ordinary.The kitchen and lounge is open plan leading out to the veranda, and further on to a lovely wooden deck overlooking the sea and edged by the beach. All have the most beautiful sea views and much needed on-shore breezes. The lounge is adorned with furniture designed and manufactured in Mozambique, by the local communities. The kitchen, which is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, plenty refrigerator and deep freeze space, includes cutlery and crockery along with pots and pans. The veranda, probably the most used area of the house, faces the beach and leads onto a wooden deck that allows for sun tanning on the loungers and relaxation without too much sand. The perfect place for sundowners! If the sand is the place for you, a walkway leads you down the hill and to the sea. Adjoined to the deck is a braai area to one side and outside shower to the other, to rinse off the sand and salt or purely to cool down.Facilities/Services The house is serviced by friendly, trusting staff from the surrounding area who clean it every day. It is also watched by security guards from within the area, all for your peace of mind.Location The House of the Rising Sun is situated in a small resort called Cumbini, named after the Chief of the area. The resort is located in the beautiful and unspoilt Guinjata Bay, the jewel of the Inhambane province of Mozambique. Perfect if you want to relax and enjoy your holiday swimming, fishing, surfing or diving on one of the beautiful reefs along the coast of Mozambique.Activities/Surrounds Entertainment:A five-minute beach walk away, brings you to a busy beach with some nice restaurants, bars, dive centres, dive shop and curio stalls, offering local arts and crafts for sale. Paddle ski?s and surfboards are available to rent at the dive shop.Fishing & Diving:Diving and fishing are of the most popular things to do in Guinjata Bay. It?s advised that reservations are made for these activities well in advance because of the popularity of these charters.
