Guests travelling without a 4x4 can speak to GoBundu about arranging a transfer from the Kosi Bay border. BEACH ACCESS & STAIRS V&K Peak’s House is situated in the third row of houses from the beach. The walk to the beach takes approximately eight minutes and includes a number of wooden stairs. Guests walk down the wooden stairs from the house, along a section of sand road and then down additional wooden stairs forming part of the estate’s communal beach walkway. The walkway leads to the communal beachfront braai and gazebo area overlooking the beach and ocean. Please take the number of stairs into consideration when booking, particularly for guests with limited mobility or very young children. HOUSEKEEPING The house is serviced daily by a full-time housekeeper. The housekeeper cleans the property, makes the beds, washes dishes and cleans the bathrooms and floors. Housekeeping hours are from 07:00 to 15:00 daily. A compulsory staff tip of R70 per day is payable to the housekeeper. This includes the days of arrival and departure and must be paid directly to the housekeeper in cash on your departure day. LINEN & TOWELS Bed linen and bath towels are provided. Guests must bring their own beach towels. LATE ARRIVALS Guests arriving after 15:00 will have their key left with the security guard. LATE CHECK-OUT Late check-out is available on request only and is subject to the house not having an incoming booking on the day of departure. Where late check-out is approved, a fee of R1,500 will be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit. Late check-out is no later than 15:00. HOUSE & ESTATE RULES No pets are permitted at any GoBundu properties. Loud music, parties and functions are not permitted. All guests must comply with the rules of the estate. No noise is permitted between 22:00 and 06:00. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being required to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights.
