It is known for its beach, for its dolphins and for its offshore diving and deep-sea fishing.From other points in Mozambique, Ponta do Ouro can only be reached by a 4x4 vehicle as there are no tarred roads.Our self catering lodge can accommodate 2 separate groups or one large group(total 24 people).Outside chalets have 5 rooms each accommodating 2 people and a sixth,accommodating 4. The sixth room has a double bed and a bunk bed that sleeps 2This area has the use of communal, but separate, men's and ladies ablutionfacilities. Each with a shower that has hot and cold water a toilet and abasin.This area has the use of the lapa area that has a boma, dining area, 4couches, a bar, a braai that can take both wood and charcoal and a kitchenthat has a fridge, chest deep freeze, stove/oven, deep fryer, basin andcupboards. Basic pots, pans, glasses, cutlery and crockery are provided.The house has 2 separate family units and a 3rd room that sleeps two.One family unit has a main bed room with two single beds (they can be pushedtogether to make a double) with a inter leading room that has two singlebeds.The other family unit and has a main bed room with a double bed with a interleading room with a bunk that sleeps 3 (a double with a single bunk aboveit).Each unit has a bathroom with a basin, shower and toilet with hot and coldwater.The 3rd room has two single beds and shares the ablutions of the 2nd familyunit.There is a communal kitchen that has a fridge, chest freezer, stove,microwave, basin and cupboards.Basic pots, pans, glasses, cutlery and crockery are provided.There is a communal dining area and the sun deck. The sun deck also has abraai that can take both wood and charcoal.This area can sleep a max of 11 people but a min booking of 6 people will beaccepted out of high season.
