The sleeper couch in Bedroom 1 accommodates a maximum of two children under the age of 12 and may not be used to increase the adult occupancy. 4X4 ACCESS A 4x4 vehicle is compulsory to access Tierras del Mar Estate. No 2x4 vehicles are permitted on the estate, as they can damage the estate roads. Guests should reduce their tyre pressure to approximately 1.2–1.5 bar when travelling on the soft sand roads. BEACH ACCESS The beach is approximately 100 metres from the house and is accessed via a direct estate pathway. The beach in front of the estate can be suitable for swimming at low tide. Guests should always take current sea and tidal conditions into consideration before entering the water. SWIMMING POOL The private swimming pool has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. Children must be supervised around the swimming pool at all times. DRINKING WATER Naudicals Dune has a reverse-osmosis water filtration system, providing safe drinking water at the house. LINEN & TOWELS Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided and guests must bring their own. TOILET PAPER & CLEANING SUPPLIES Toilet paper and household cleaning materials are supplied. FIREWOOD Wood for the first night is supplied. Guests wishing to use the wood braai or boma thereafter will need to replenish their own firewood. HOUSEKEEPING & STAFF TIPS The house is serviced daily by two staff members: a housekeeper and a general worker/gardener. The housekeeper handles the daily cleaning, makes beds, washes dishes and cleans the bathrooms, floors and living areas. The general worker/gardener assists around the property, helps with luggage on arrival and departure and can assist with carrying cooler boxes and beach equipment to and from the beach. He can also assist with washing guests’ vehicles. A compulsory staff tip of R70 per staff member, per day is payable. This includes the days of arrival and departure. The total compulsory staff tip is therefore R140 per day. The deposit will be refunded within 14 days after departure, subject to there being no damage, breakages, losses or other applicable deductions. LATE CHECK-OUT Late check-out is available on request only and is subject to the house not having an incoming booking on the day of departure. Where late check-out is approved, a fee of R1,500 will be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit. Late check-out is no later than 15:00. GROUPS No groups of guests under the age of 25 are permitted without parental or adult supervision. HOUSE & ESTATE RULES No pets are permitted. Loud music, parties and functions are not permitted. All guests must comply with the rules of Tierras del Mar Estate. No noise is permitted between 22:00 and 06:00. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a warning.
