The house is situated approximately 20 metres from the beach, with just one house between Surfer’s Spot and the ocean. Guests walk out of the property gate, a short distance along the sand road and down a gradual wooden walkway with approximately eight steps to reach the beach. The beach in front of the house is suitable for swimming. Ponta do Ouro’s main swimming bay is approximately a 10-minute walk along the beach. PARKING Secure parking is available for two vehicles inside the property gates, with space for approximately two additional vehicles outside the gate. SWIMMING POOL The private swimming pool has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. Children must be supervised around the swimming pool at all times. HOUSEKEEPING & STAFF TIPS Gina is the housekeeper and services the house daily. She keeps the house clean, makes and tidies the beds, cleans the bedrooms and bathrooms, loads the dishwasher and assists with preparing the breakfast table and braai area. Gina’s working hours are from 07:30 to 16:30. Hortencio is the gardener and assists around the property. His working hours are from 06:00 to 10:00 and 15:00 to 19:00. A compulsory staff tip of R40 per staff member, per day is payable to Gina and Hortencio. This includes the days of arrival and departure. DRINKING WATER Complimentary bottled drinking water is provided. A 25-litre water dispenser is available in the kitchen. When the bottled water runs out, guests should ask the staff to replace it with a full bottle. LINEN & TOWELS Bed linen and bath towels are provided. Guests must bring their own beach towels. COFFEE MACHINE The coffee machine uses Delta coffee pods. Delta pods can be purchased at Mr Fresh in Ponta do Ouro village. LAUNDRY A washing machine is available, but it may only be operated by the house staff. Guests should ask the staff if they require washing to be done. GROUPS No groups of guests under the age of 25 are permitted without parental or adult supervision. The deposit will be refunded within 14 days after departure, subject to there being no damage, breakages or losses at the property. LATE CHECK-OUT Late check-out is available on request only and is subject to the house not having an incoming booking on the day of departure. Where late check-out is approved, a fee of R1,500 will be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit. Late check-out is no later than 15:00. HOUSE RULES No pets are permitted at any GoBundu properties. Loud music, parties and functions are not permitted. No noise is permitted between 22:00 and 06:00. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being required to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights.
