A 4x4 is not compulsory; however, guests require a 2x4 vehicle with differential lock or a 4x4. BEACH ACCESS The beach is approximately 200 metres from the property as the crow flies. Due to the route to the beach, the walk takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Staff are available to assist guests with carrying beach equipment to and from the beach. Guests can alternatively drive closer to the beach and park at the top of the stairs leading down to the beach. PRIVATE & SHARED AREAS Guests booking Top of the World have exclusive use of the unit’s bedrooms, bathrooms, private swimming pool, wooden deck and gas braai. Other Sunset Villa units may be occupied by other guests during your stay. The Top of the World deck is elevated above and overlooks the deck and swimming pool belonging to the Anything Can Happen unit. Guests using these two outdoor areas will therefore be visible to one another. The property’s parking area is shared between the Sunset Villa units. SWIMMING POOL The private swimming pool has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. Children must be supervised around the swimming pool at all times. BRAAI FACILITIES Top of the World has its own private gas braai. There is also a communal charcoal braai area available on the property. Guests wishing to use this area should bring their own charcoal or briquettes. HOUSEKEEPING & STAFF TIPS The unit is serviced daily. A compulsory daily staff tip of R70 per day is payable for the housekeeper and R30 per day for Joao, who assists with maintenance, swimming pools and cleaning the braais. The tips apply to the days of arrival and departure and must be paid in cash on departure. LINEN & TOWELS Bed linen and bath towels are provided. Guests must bring their own beach towels. The deposit will be refunded within 14 days after departure, subject to there being no damage, breakages or losses at the property. LATE CHECK-OUT Late check-out is available on request only and is subject to the unit not having an incoming booking on the day of departure. Where late check-out is approved, a fee of R1,500 will be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit. Late check-out is no later than 15:00. HOUSE RULES No pets are permitted at any GoBundu properties. Loud music, parties and functions are not permitted. No noise is permitted between 22:00 and 06:00. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited.
